quarter date

I found this while hunting with my little girl and have tried to figure out a date but cannot tell the difference. I know it is a type 1 standing liberty 1916 0r 1917 there is no mint mark on the back but i am new to coins and caant tell the difference. thanks, Chris

Look At her left foot (right when you look at her).

The differences are subtle, but looks like 1917 to me.

Bumping this back up to get more responses. The curl looks '17 like, but the hair looks '16 like.
