Hey everyone I have previously posted this point before, but I am really wondering if anyone can help identify or at least speculate what type or era this point might be from. It's damaged at the base, but I was wondering if had any distinct characteristics besides its base. Was it a knife or a spear point? It's not very stratified in the creek, as I have found middle archaic to early Mississippian stuff in there as well. I know this might be an impossible task, but I would appreciate any help. Thanks! Quartz points are sometimes hard to I.D. and that one looks like the base has been broke off which makes it almost impossible to identify. That is most likely why no one has identified.

I believe your right. Just wishful thinking on my part, I'll have to find more that can actually be identified
