Hey everyone I found this coming out of the dirt that I search for settler pottery. It looks like a damaged point to me, and one side looks worked. I tried to take pictures, but it looks better in person. If it is a point does anyone have suggestions what it could be? Base appears intact. I could be completely wrong, but thanks for reading. 4EF139A0-3F3B-4DDB-A071-A6AE2B388A5D.jpeg E36B12C2-5E21-476D-99CC-CF23E2BA2113.jpeg 86877C99-692F-491C-A221-2243CD9DCDFA.jpeg 0004181D-A7C3-4471-BB09-EEB7498B8ADA.jpeg 30776A08-2796-4488-83D0-217E1F8C1600.jpeg

I find many teardrop shaped pieces of quartz at one of the sites I walk most often and have come to think that they're almost exclusively waste as I can easily tell the difference (in the hand) between these and other quartz points I find there. But if you can see some workmanship otherwise, that piece could certainly have been used. And of course quartz doesn't show workmanship details like other material in photos.

Probably a little tool.

Thanks for the replies ya'll. I suppose context would matter as well. Found some stuff in the area.
