Before it was French, of course, QC was inhabited by native Americans & even after, NA folks and the French hung out a lot etc. Then the Brits came along...

Anyway, is this man-made? It’s got lots of ridges along one side.

Can't think of any reason to make one, so I would go with fossil of some type.
