Hi Tom.
This isn't a metal detector in the traditional sense.
The device you mentioned is an LRL (long range locator); very technically sophisticated, but ultimately just a dowsing rod.
And like @Treasure_Hunter mentioned, and I will do, too, this is scam. A lot of hokus-bogus elctroblabla for a lot of buck$.
(Why sell it? If it works why not keeping all the jewels & gold?)
Have you ever tried to see if you're suited to this kind of treasure hunting? Not everyone has the energy for it.
The best thing to do is try finding a hidden object using two L-shaped wires, like coat hangers. If you can find the hidden object with the wires, then it's something for you.
If not, leave it alone and stick with your XP. (Which one are you using, anyway?)

Sir, both are junk. If someone developed a long distance gold detector, why would you market it instead of finding all the gold for yourself.

The only "gold" they ever find is in the sucker's wallets.
