Found this at 1870 church woods. Found the 1850s rosette there. Is this a person or horse? It’s pitted after I got multiple layers removed , it’s starting to get fragile I don’t want to mess with it anymore.

My guess is it’s from harness rigging.
I don’t know if it can be proved conclusively, either way. Good luck. 👍🏼

you're welcome. those in the chart are early 1900s but they were made well before and after that time frame.
