Hi all, I am the proud new owner af a deus 1. It seems to be a solid detector with a broad range of settings.
I hunt 99
% of the time on colonial homesites and fields and was wondering which frequency would be best for my application. Mainly coppers and buttons. I am going to try to start off with the deus fast factory program, but I see it is set to around 17 khz. I was wondering if a little lower frequency would work better, the next preset frequency is 11.2 I believe. There is the option to frequency shift some of the settings.
Just looking for a good starting point frequency wise and tweak it as needs be. I'm probably thinking too much into it, 17khz mite be just fine.
