Question about Teknetics Delta 4000 Waterproof safe for shallow beach water?

[LuckyGoods]

I purchased a Teknetics Delta 4000 . Is there any way to tell if this is waterproof. So you can search beach front? I know the CPU portion is not, but what about the coil head that comes with it original?

Just about all detectors r water proof up to the control boxes if ur goin knee high or so ull b Fine probly about as far as id go give it some room for those unexpected waves. U can also varify from there websight & may b listed in the manusl, but honestly I havent seen detectors not waterproof up to the power boxes in quite some time
