Question about the Minelab Eureka Gold

A while back I picked up used Minelab Eureka Gold detector and after using it many different times, the wire from the coil to the box appears to be going bad on me. It appears to be all one piece (coil and wire), and a new stock coil is 208.00 so I was wondering If there are any other brand coils that will work on the Eureka Gold. Thanks.

No I don't believe so. It has to be a designed to work on a Minelab. Check out some of the Sunray and Coiltek coils. They make them for Minelabs and they are great coils. The coils for the gold detectors aren't your usual coil.
