I was there, I suspect it was the weather, they were calling for rain, it just enver happened......I told myself when I got up if radar shoed it covered in rain I would reconsider, when I got up radar looked spotty but could tell it would not be solid rain so I hit the road....



HAD A GREAT TIME TOO....

By the way, I want to publically thank your wife, she always helps out and dont know if she gets the thanks she should get....

Chuck, I had planned to attend and had rsvp'd, unfortunately I got tapped on the friday before at the last minute to work the weekend with no way around it. I was bummed to say the least. Looking forward to the next one!

I planned on attending however, we were staying at the Hilton at Melbourne beach and the weather was cold and gloomy. I.E- couldn't let the Mrs stay in the room all day alone or I would of been there. She told me to go ahead and go but i know what that means for the rest of our evening when i return... LOL... Hopefully i will be able to make the next one and I wanna thank the guys who invited me. I would of loved to learn about this new hobby I have acquired.

Missed it! Missed you all ... Nothing better than good friends and good food And treasure talk! No excuse in town and have foul weather gear if needed just a stretch of trying to get the boats sorted out for the summer and still waiting for a good weather window to leave for Bahamas. Mom has had a spell of earache and sinus Maybe due to my constant talking about treasure ...guess there's just times these two pirates aren't up for a party but will look forward to the next one. Good finding wished to all!

I think I have made them all previously and contributed in some shape or form in the past, it is a great event. Yes I sorely missed this one. I have no doubt it was a great time as always. John and his supporters are the best. I missed the event and the folks that usually made the trek. I know the weather played a big part in many not attending...its alot like trying to work the wreck-sites of the 1715 Fleet. Weather, work, family, Alzheimers, I am sure those who missed wanted to to attend. Is there talk of changing the venue?

thanks for checking in!!! john has decided to leave all the fun of planning and organizing to someone foolish enough to take over......(me). as of right now there will be no change other than I will be making it much easier to run and less of a burden financially!!!!

Work got me too, I usually make it. April 20th is our anniversary too, so in the future that date will be difficult for me. This time she was all in (since the Bahamas were out of the question. :-) ) but my work didn't allow it that weekend. Next time I will be back.
