✅ SOLVED Question from Mogi

I would like to give someone an artifact from my collection. This will be free of charge and before The Negatives start chiming in - This will be a P.F. and to the very best of my knowledge is Very Authentic. I wasn't sitting with the Native American when he or she made it, but like i said, i have scoped it and believe it to be authentic. After you receive it you can post it and ask all the experts on the forum of it's authenticity. I have seen on the forum that members send each other artifacts and i would like to do the same for someone. I will even pay the postage and shipping. If you will simply like this post,then i will put your name down and in a week, i will draw out the name. I hope this is ok and meets guidelines. If not, at least everyone will know i tried. I have added pics of the point i will be sending. I hunt Missouri quite often and Dalton Points are very prevalent. This piece is a no brainer with patina,minerals and ancient resharpening evident. I hope you guys are not offended by my simple gesture, but if i sent anything of greater value, it would DEF be called a fake. Enjoy and thank you. I will be sending it out a week from tomorrow. I will draw the name next Sunday.

Just wanted to say thanks everyone, and a special thanks to mogi for his kind generosity. Ive talked with mogi and he has been very kind and hasnt put any stipulations on this gift. It should be on its way to me today and I cant wait to put my hands on it !! Mogi has left it up to me to make a decision on wether to pay it foward and pass the artifact along. I know I want to enjoy it for a while, but was wondering what everyone thought about passing it around for everyone to enjoy.
I have not made a decision on that yet and was wondering what everyone thought about that idea ?? It feels kind of selfish to keep somthing that was given to me so genoursly. But I would want it to keep going down the line if I was to share it. What do you guys think should I be greedy and keep it, or should I trust in others to not be greedy and keep it themselves ??

If you don't mind my input - first of all, it tells a lot about you and your character. Knowing and anticipating and yet willing to share with others. You have been nothing but kind,generous and thoughtful of others. Don't find a lot of people like that anymore. I would so love to put together a gift giveaway on a more regular basis by many members, to show kindness,willingness and to think of enjoyment we might bring to others that starts a different demeanor on this forum. A demeanor of love,trust,honesty and integrity that would make people want to share their thoughts and ideas and not feel belittled or not worthy because they do not have the 50 yrs or 1000 artifacts of others. I would love to drop a clovis point into their hand and be a fly on the wall and see that. I am willing to start a program between us. I need your thoughts and ideas. Please p.m. me and lets get something going. Lastly, i know you guys know of my situation on this forum. I have hunted and collected longer than most. And, yes i have an incredible collection (whether they think so or not). My house is constantly visited by collectors,authenticators,archaeologists,hobbyist's and some of the best in this business. PERIOD! I am offered thousands for individual pieces often and am called on the phone from people that i have never heard of. Now, either all of those people are all wrong - Or what i have been saying and showing is the truth. You can make your own decision because after all, that is what matters most. I Love God so,so, much and openly admit it. Why would i go on a forum and make up fabricated lies? Anyways, sorry for the little rant, but many of these people are now on my ignore list and i no longer see their rude remarks. I have to admit - Now This Is The Most Fun I Have Had Since Joining. God bless you and yours and lets put our heads together and come up with a strategy for monthly giveaways. Christmas giveaway will be a big one. P.M. me with your ideas. I can't speak for others, but I do not find it at all difficult to encounter people who are "kind, generous, and thoughtful of others." I know many people who fit that description to a tee, and, in fact, i don't think it is at all hard to find such people. The world is full of such people, as far as I am concerned.

My 2 cents. Keep it, you won the drawing. Passing it around is a nice gesture but Im pretty sure mogi didn't start this with that in mind.

Got my point mogi, thank you very much. Im in the bahamas and havnt been able to see it in person. Im leaving tomorrow and should be home tomorrow night.my wife opened the box and sent me pics, and she was impressed by the size of it.just goes to show that women really are impressed by size. Sorry I didn't respond earlier. Wifi is spotty at best here in spanish wells for some reason right now. Anyway im excited to get home and check it out in person. Ill post pics tomorrow night when im home. Thanks again !!
