I’ve noticed there are a lot of very smart people on this site so I’m hoping someone can help me. I’ve been given some outstanding advice on how to find old coins and relics. Does anyone know know if there is a way to find a map of old parks or houses in the town I live in. I thought that maybe there might be a website where I could get that information. Thanks

Rudy there is. I've seen it posted and there may be a sub forum for it here. Wish I could give you the link but I don't have it. Maybe the search engine can help. Check with the folks that do the street maps in your town and the library. Good Luck!

Thanks

I appreciate your help. I’ll give it a try!!

Click on a spot on the map. It will bring up a menu, down below, that you can scroll/drag left or right, to see what the oldest topos are, for that area.

And assuming the over-lays are accurate, then any "x" you place on the map, becomes the "x" of the newer or older maps you are looking at.

Search University of Texas Libraries. I was just looking at an 1835 map of Texas. Lots more there I think.

There is another way. I first started swinging the coil back in 1970. Back then it was, Beep,, Dig.
