Thanks for the reply.I didn't realize they were so collectible.I got this one for a dollar at a yard sale.I have seen some at antique & collectible shows, most were from the 80's,anywhere from 10-20 bucks a piece.I'll have to keep an eye out from now on.Very Cool, thanks again! I gotta go detecting,it's been over a month and i'm itching to go.Maybe this weekend?Good luck to you and what's the most expensive glass listed in your book? What about the oldest one?
Hey it's me again. What does the book say about the 1982 mint julep glasses? I know there's something about a misprint with "Spectacular bid "I think.Anyway I happened upon a set of 6 for $5.00 figured I couldn't go wrong.BTW-The 1969 glass I had sold on ebay for $26 and change. Not bad for a buck!
A red dot was put on the glasses to indicate a filly won the Derby.
On some of the 1982 and 1984 glasses, the red dot was left off of
Genuine Risk's name. If your glass has the dot, list price is $12.00.
Dot missing, list price is $450.00. What a difference a dot makes.
