So i was inspecting our ever eroding gorge and discovered large quartz sticking out of the clay. Upon removing some of the chunks i became curious what else i might find here, but i'm wondering should i dig into the bank where the chunks where formed or straight down under?

The gorge has and under ground stream running under it with a small stream bubbling along the surface. Could there be value worth digging around here?

I noticed this was your very first post - so, Welcome Aboard Atticus! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).
