Quick backyard hunt.

Well, didn't think I would dig today but the rain moved out and the Boss got tired of looking at me so she went to town and I hit yard. My house is pretty old and there was a house here before mine. I've found some old stuff here in the past and it is great to have targets in your back yard. Only dug s little but here's what I got. Nice hat pin or brouch, not sure what the star thing is the back is filled with lead. Maybe someone can tell me. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a horse bridle rosette judging by the size and lead filled back. Nice finds. I wish I lived in an older house. I'd detect the yard all day long.

Glad to see you got out. You pulled some interesting finds. My permission site was a little swampy so I hit 3 other sites. Didn't find any keepers, but I pulled over $10 in clad and a British penny. Nothing deserving of a post though.
