Quick hunt gets Seated & Barber

I snuck out while my wife was on errands, and in between honey-do list items. The metal reads "...the grand army of the republic" 1886. The small cent is a Canadian Centennial cent.

An hour in and the wife called. Yikes!!

Anyway, I haven't dug a seated in a couple months so it was well worth the lashings! A Cat-O-9 tails wound wi heal, but the coin will remain

Whips and stones may break my bones but Seated coins excite me. Great hunt love the GAR badge

That's a Great hour long hunt with some Sweet silver and I can relate to that " where are you honey" call. Lol

A couple weeks ago I got off work early and thought the wife wouldn't be home for a while after I got home. Grabbed the CTX and went for a quick hunt before she'd get home.
Lucky for me my first hit was a Sweet seated dime. Ten minutes later I get a text from the wife asking where I was. Lol

Once you find a sweet coin like a seated it's all gravy after that. My wife said to get my arse home and I said "ok!"

A trifecta would have been icing. I had one earlier in the year with a seated/barber/Merc. I'm hoping to pull a capped silver out of there before things wrap up. So far from this site...
