Quick hunt on old foundation reveals a Horse.

Hit a new foundation I found while scouting for deer season today. Only had about two hours before the rain. Here are the finds not much but interesting. The horse I am thinking possible weathervane? Found near what I believe is the barn.

I agree with your assessment. Maybe part of a weathervane.

Yeah, It's say it's a weathervane too. Nice find! I can't remember seeing anyone find a weathervane before.

Bow season here already. Seeing tons of does but only one nice buck just cannot seem to get him in bow range yet. Have the Viper and cobra myself and I love those summits.....

I will find the time to hit the foundation again. The old homestead is surrounded by beechnut trees so I will be back in there to hunt and detect soon enough.
