Went out this afternoon after work and hit a local park that is in near were I live, yet until the other night while I was searching google earth I never even knew it existed. Searched through some old maps to see what was there originally but it seems it was always a park, at least as far back as 1875 which was the oldest map I had.

Did pretty good, at least I thought so.
I found a 1946 silver dime, two Indian head pennies - an 1863 and an 1883, as well as several Wheaties - one of them from 1910, plus a button - not sure if it's old or not.

In addition to the above I found some clad and a ton of the old style pull tabs, not the pop tops.

Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Johnny

Way to go Johnny! Nice job searching out that park! I'm going to be hitting a spot you helped me find this weekend. Thanks!

Nice finds Johnny,
Fortunately for you the city has not removed any soil, which has left all the goodies for you to find.
There's more treasure to be found.
Way to go.

It may have been quick, but it sure was productive. Good hunt!!! :)
