Rain day,2 hour hunt

Came home from work early today because of rain. Well it wasn't raining when I got home,nobody here,so I grabbed the detector and headed to a boarded up house. I was detecting for a while and I looked up and there was a guy standing in the yard,kinda freaked me out! Found out he was a realtor and was going to show the house to someone. Selling for a whopping 9,000.00.I thought the city owned it and was going to tear it down. I asked him if it was a problem to be detecting there,and he said "I don't give a sh*t." Good enough for me.Was hoping for a silver coin today,but it wasn't happening. I did find some silver in the form of a ten dollar token from the Luxor casino in Vegas. Also found two wheats,a 1930 and a 41. I had found 18 wheats here on my last hunt,all only an inch to an inch and a half down. The lizard,dinosaur and marbles came out of the holes. Two foreign coins,one from Trinidad/Tobago and one from Australia. That makes three foreigns from this site. Weird, only if coins could talk. Not a super day,but better than being at work!

Hey Steve

If you detected there for a few more hours you could have found enough change and jewelry to buy the place... but then who wants to buy a place all hunted out.

Anyway, thanks for sharing with us and glad the Realtor was a good guy rather than a jerk
