Raining Silver and a What is it??

I've been eye-balling this spot since early spring. I've wait for the right time and with it raining and being so miserable out today was the day. Used the ATPRO being it was so wet. The VDI on the dimes were like 76-78 and the 1/2 rang in at 88-89. Only the 3rd 1/2 dollar I've found. The interesting find is two glass ?? That were found at a base of a tree. Any thought on what they are? I'll be posting it on the what is it forum.

I believe the 2 glass things are old motorcycle goggle lenses the leather has rotted away.

The two glass thing look like gas mask lenses I doubt that's what the are but that's what they remind me of do they have any signs of rubber around the edge of them? Or motor cycle goggles
