View from my front porch. What you don't see in the picture, is the tree's bending at crazy angles because of the 60+ mph wind gusts. It was a strong, straight wind storm. You can also see what looks to be a funnel cloud.

Here's the haul so far from the uprooted tree. Any body into puzzles? :BangHead:

The W H Grindley & Co was used between 1914 and 1925. The J & G Meakin Hanley England started c. 1890 +, but in 1907 they started using a different mark.

I find lots of crock pieces out here. I really do hope to find one intact.

I tried to keep all the different bottles and glass organized. I don't know why. I'm not going to put all of this stuff back together again.

Plus a bunch of rusty straps, handles, pieces.
As I was digging, I started finding pieces of bone. Eventually, my mind started wandering and imagination kicked in. I was starting to wonder if maybe a traveling sales man was robbed and killed there along that road. I prepared myself for finding a skull. Finally, I pulled out a jaw bone. Animal.
