Okay WD,I rounded up someone for you to look at. And a tune!
And the lyrics!
By Warren Zevon & David Lindell C. 1976 Zevon Music/Bmi
Roland was a warrior from the Land of the Midnight Sun
With a Thompson gun for hire, fighting to be done
The deal was made in Denmark on a dark and stormy day
So he set out for Biafra to join the bloody fray
Through sixty-six and seven they fought the Congo war
With their fingers on their triggers, knee-deep in gore
For days and nights they battled the Bantu to their knees
They killed to earn their living and to help out the Congolese
Roland the Thompson gunner...
His comrades fought beside him - Van Owen and the rest
But of all the Thompson gunners, Roland was the best
So the cia decided they wanted Roland dead
That son-of-a-***** Van Owen blew off Roland's head
Roland the headless Thompson gunner
Norway's bravest son
Time, time, time
For another peaceful war
But time stands still for Roland
'Til he evens up the score
They can still see his headless body stalking through the night
In the muzzle flash of Roland's Thompson gun
In the muzzle flash of Roland's Thompson gun
Roland searched the continent for the man who'd done him in
He found him in Mombassa in a barroom drinking gin
Roland aimed his Thompson gun - he didn't say a word
But he blew Van Owen's body from there to Johannesburg
Roland the headless Thompson gunner...
The eternal Thompson gunner
Still wandering through the night
Now it's ten years later but he still keeps up the fight
In Ireland, in Lebanon, in Palestine and Berkeley
Patty Hearst heard the burst of Roland's Thompson gun and bought it
If you guys keep posting music videos for me to listen to at work, somebody is eventually going to accuse you of spoiling me.
So maybe I should give you a treat in return. Here are some more Walleye for Wounded Hero pics.

I found out that this lady was actually one of the chaperones for the female Heroes. Every year she brings the fixin's for s'mores.

I believe this is her husband. They invite all of the Heroes down for s'mores every night.
Made to order. There were 5 different varieties. There was one, The Grass hopper, which is made with a Peppermint Patty. Sounded gross to me. One was made with Reese cups, I can't remember what they called it. One was called the Hawaiian, which was made with Mounds. And they had the Classic, which of course was the original s'more. I chose the Hawaiian.
They also had the Salted Carmel. Another one that sounded gross to me.
R.I.P. John McCain. A true american, and a true american hero. I didnt always believe in all his political ideals, but there was never a doubt about his patriotism, sacrifice, honor and dedication to this country. This man cheated death more than a few times, and was a true warrior before he became a senator. Faith of my fathers is a gret book about him, and after I read it I realized that the hand of god has always rested on his shoulder. He lived through more impossible odds and experienced more hardships than many of us would in 3 lifetimes. A remarkable man !! He definitely took the lemons and made them into lemonade.
