Hey Bart you still have coil wire wrap warp going on those Excals.
Ya....I need to straighten them out better..... each boat my boss has ive put a couple excals onboard !! I've only used those twice....all the knobs have already cracked and fallen off the older unit !! If we take this boat to the bahamas ill upgrade them both !!

Hello, Chris! It’s good to see you again! I skimmed over the thread & seen you are/were wounded. I hope that heals up well.
It is rather strange having to hobble around everywhere, can't drive, can't fish, can't metal detect, last Thursday my Wife fell at work putting up Halloween decorations for her patients, she fractured her left thumb, now she waiting to get in to see an Ortho,I sure hope she gets in before those bones start to knit back together, pretty colors on her arm.Other than that Sis..ALL is well.

My metal detecting philosophy is as follows...........

IF i am detecting.... i am out there spending my time and energy looking to find something of some importance.
Ill be damned i am gonna walk over it and miss it because i have set the detector to ignore it.

FOR example....

Say you happen to walk over that "unicorn" / "mythical" .... yet FACTUAL buried pirate treasure chest...
AFTER YEARS pf detecting... you have finally walked over one...

ONLY to never find it... BECAUSE.... You have nulled iron out.

FOR... We all know... the probability of any real treasure to be buried IN IRON... OR IF EVEN said treasure was stashed in a wood box / chest....... It would have STILL been littered with iron.

SO.... To all you seekers of the "big score" on the shores...

You'll never find it... unless................................

You dig more. :)
