Had a couple hours to hunt today. I decided to finally try the Nox at my Nova site. (Last year at this site, Nova, NJ Copper and KG’s) It is a super overgrown field that I barreled down last year to be able to swing the coil.

I didn’t have time to barrel today, so just hit the deer paths and bedding areas. I was hoping the Nox would find some targets my Garrett missed. The Nox has been great at mid tones. Got a handful of keepers and a couple buttons.

The one button has 13 stars so I sent a pic to Steve to see if it might be military related. He texted back that it is a Rattlesnake Button, Revolutionary War period!

I’m still blown away that significant 1700’s coins and relics can be found within 10 minutes of my house, awesome hobby!!

Need to figure out if I should try to remove some of the clay and crust on the button.
