While rummaging around in my box of junque I came across an old Royal Canadian Air Force button that I had found in the base housing area (where I was living) of Zweibrucken AFB, Germany back in 1984. The button is in excellent condition and has "C LAMOND MONTREAL" stamped on the back. It appears to be a cuff button. Me and my old hunting buddy Bergie used to find a lot of Canadian coins there too, especially under the old clothes lines.
The Canadians operated the base between 1953 and 1964 when it was taken over by the USAF. The base was finally closed and turned over to the German civil authorities in 1991. I haven't seen any Canadian military buttons here in the forums so I decided to give you all a look.
