If "transfer tubes" means Youtube, try this Terry Cieszki. TTC
 
Ok. I got it. Transfer as in from bucket to bucket. (sheeeese). Make them at least 4 inch diameter or will not allow enough water to return to the pump. Strap a small bucket onto the intake hose so it will keep the hose in the water but not on the bottom. Will also keep sand out of the hose if it gets that far. TTC
