Reached my goal...1 silver - first wheatie YAY

well, I hit that closed bar again... and came home with 100 coins... all I think are regular clad, but right now they are in the rock tumbler, to get the yuck off em... either way, I did it...I finally found 100 coins in one day... this is a major accomplishment for me..and I feel super great about it...even thou it seems to be normal clad from what I can see so far..oh there is some mickey mouse token, dated 1982 I think it is... so I am happy... and still doing research on those old sites...

atta girl rae... sheez if this keeps up I will have to change my name to the clad queen

Congrats on the 100 coin day! Are you sure that's a Mickey Mouse token and not the famed Chuck E. Cheese token (a must have for every detectorist!).

hubby brought some kinda real find sand home from work ( kind u use in a sand blaster) and no chuckie cheese yet... it is a mickey mouse something and one is also a parkway token .... still tumbling as I cant tell what I have as far as the regular clad goes... I will post as soon as I can make some of em out

it took me 4 hrs... yea am slow but I did try to speed it up.... not bad for an ole crone thou

Nice job on the 100 coin day. Takes alot of work to get 100. I've only done it twice and man was I sore the next day. (Both times) Congratulations.

ok ok now am thrilled to death... there is one silver roosevelt dime dated 1946 ( or 40 ) its really beat up from being buried in stones I guess..but heck, its silver.. and....drum roll... MY FIRST WHEATIE but its in really bad conditon I can't even make out the date..but ITS MY FIRST WHEATIE FIND.... omg am more excited now.

and that mickey thing ..well aint sure what it is...calling it a whatzit..

For the gold hit the beaches and for the old silver try the older parks or private property. NJ is full of old parks just check out the vintage maps or your local historical society. Sanborn Maps has some good maps on-line you can check out.
