Congrats on the Flying Eagle

Welcome to the Flying Eagle Club!
Mine is just as toasty as yours! (see?)

Mine was found in Connecticut, did a cleaning
in vinegar (bad!), but still couldn't bring out any details.
All we see is the flying eagle outline......oh well, most folks don't
find these coins, so consider yourself fortunate!

Right. Can't be a 7. Oh wait - the bottom of a SIX looks just like the bottom of an EIGHT!!!! Now go to sleep. If you cannnnnnnnnnnn . . .

I resisted responding to this post to see if I had any problem sleeping. Nope! Slept like a log. :)

But, I just gotta ask. Even if, by some stretch of the imagination, you could convince someone this was an 1856. Just how much do you suppose you could get for it, in this condition? I'll trade a couple zincolns for it. LOL

No, the "value" in this one is finding a "FLYING EAGLE CENT!" and being able to tell that's what it is. :)

Bake it on 250 over night then straight in freezer for hours then repeat three times then wash with water
