I believe it is a motley but not sure. Found it field hunting,measures a tad over 4”

What material do you think this is? It almost looks like Crooksville flint.

Yeah I found it in Breathitt County Close to the Kentucky river

I’m not sure on the material, my buddy thinks it’s a higher grade breathitt chert but I ain’t so sure it’s somewhat translucent too
 

That’s a great piece, one of the better finds posted lately, beats the pants off the string of triangles I’ve been finding.

Could be breathitt or a nice piece of st louis green, killer find congrats...
