Recognize anything worth keeping?

So I got some time in today and while I didn't find anything that really excited me, I did find a couple unusual things. The big axe thing looked cheap and not too impressive but I figured it'd be made in china or something but it says made in Spain which I found interesting. The scissors seem really old but they are shot and totally rusted. Anyhow, I'm guessing its all garbage but I figured I'd run it by you guys first.

The bullet shaped thing looks like the spray nozzle off a tank type weed sprayer. Is it brass?

There is such a thing as brand snobbery, but there's also such a thing as a manufacturer that simply makes better stuff than the other guys.

Considering the stuff that was found, though, this detector seems to be sufficient for the area.

The halberd was made no earlier than the '40s. That's when the made in markings started to be required. The little silver Y shaped item appears to be a Knife handle. It;s looks like you hit a Medieval festival site. Frank...

Definitely some random items indeed. The handle thingy does have a slit in it for a blade to go in. Too bad I didn't find the whole piece. And thanks for the depth advice, as I am very new to the hobby and my little toy metal detector isn't all that great. Too bad I didn't find the coaxial coupler a few months ago when I needed one, lol, there's $1.29 I didn't need to spend.

Using my detector in the same area would have only found the bullet and the coins. You decide if that's a good thing or not. I'm not a rust hunter so it's good for me but might not be for others.

Sometimes old, iron relics are worth more than one would think, especially if one finds the right stuff.

I'm sure you're right.....it just doesn't do anything for me. Like finding clad..... but not quite as boring.
