Reddie finds two SLQ's !!

Two standing liberty quarters in the same hole ! But of course the dates are worn off . Also today one odd goldplated? class ring that just says HIGH SCHOOL around the red stone. One 1926 merc ,one 1916 barber dime ,one silver war nickle with a p on the back thats looks like it has been through heck and back, one 1919 wheatie ,4 civil war bullets, one was found at the base of a HUGE oak tree it looks like it struck the tree and landed smashed at the bottom. One chain link ? piece. And of course a large amount of JUNK not pictured !! Nice haul for 4 hours !

Re: Reddie finds two SLQ's !!

Nice finds Red. I found a ring like that, it only has High School around the green stone. The plating on mine is all coming off and the ring looks like it was buried for a very long time. Yours is in great shape compared to mine.

Re: Reddie finds two SLQ's !!

Nice finds. Those SLQ's seem to be rare to find. I have only gotten one so far (no date of course).

On your bullets, of those I think only 2 are actually CW period. The big one that isn't smashed is an enfield. The other big one probably is, but hard to tell. The smaller ones looks like a more modern .22 and maybe a .30/.30 slug.

Re: Reddie finds two SLQ's !!

They used to sell those plated high school rings at the five and dimes. I had one from Murphy's when I was in sixth grade. man was I ever cool with a high school ring. LOL. Murphy's was a five and dime store for those to young to know.
