AWESOME and it looks like she works. Actually made them back to 1915. Look at EBay several there.

I looked up the model number GA which is on my reel and it dates from 1940-45. I did not know they made them for so long though, thanks for the info!
 

Hello diggyboy. Nice find, especially intact and usable. I have several fishin' reels but they are always beat up and in pieces. That is cool that you are gonna use it...hope it brings you good luck on the water. Thanks for the post and HF. C9

Thanks! I have found little parts and pieces of old reels too but this is definitely a first. It should work well, everything was made much better back then.
