What a peaceful looking place. Weird it was built so close to the water though. :icon_scratch:
 
IMO, Maybe ,Looks to be the land owners so called dog house. He built it so close to the pond on purpose. He could Fish from inside the building when he was in trouble with his wife without being seen from the main house.
