I dug my first Barber dime this week!
I hadn't ever held one before!
Not in great shape, but oh well...!

Congrats on your first Barber dime! I remember when I found my first one, and exactly where I dug it. Mine was a 1892 (almost seated). It was worn as flat as can be and I could barely make out the date. At least yours has some nice detail, and it will probably clean up really nice. Does it have a mint-mark?

Ah, no mint mark, so as a "plain", see...?

it's quite common over the other varieties of it....
Yeah, I remember each and every place, where I found my
old coins AND most sites where they were recovered.
Places to return again, sometime - its never hunted-out!

Yeah, with zoomed-in a bunch, you can see the letters of LIBERTY. Haven't looked in my Red Book, but....COOL, the coin will go to my grandkids!
