Got out for an hour this morning to a spot I hunted once last spring. I was hoping for some Victorian military buttons but was happy to leave with the Victorian New Brunswick penny. I found the half penny version of this coin a couple years ago so this will make it a set. It's an 1854.

I didn't think I would find anything old at this particular site...Andy and I hit it pretty hard last year so I knew what to expect...it's tough keeping off the better sites.
 
Hey there's nothing wrong with that at all...very uncommon for us to dig coppers that look like that. Funny I found a crap load of coins in a very small area and most were just readable but on was almost mint with the date 1769.

OH and stay off the new sites :tongue3: :tongue3: :tongue3:
