Today I had to head out of town for work. I got up and the dogs know when I'm booking out for a few days and always just lay down and look depressed, as I pack my luggage. I had a couple hours this morning, so I said lets go you muts and took them out to an abandoned coal mine site that I've picked up many late 19th century early 20th stuff over the years I've lived by the place. This item caught my eye as just the curved part was sticking out of the ground. I was delighted when I saw what it said. It's a piece of an old "Good Luck Horseshoe padlock" I've never herd of one before, but it was easy to ID the thing when I looked it up. I see also a TN member also found a complete one previously in 2010.
