There will be a relic hunt in Virginia in September and October. The dates are sept 16,17,and 18th and October 28,29 and 30. www.relic-rescue.org for info

I would love it but I am flying overseas till Nov... Maybe I can get in on one of the later ones.

Always interested in a relic hunt. Count me in if I'm off work that day. Always good to meet others who enjoy this hobby.

Is the hunt full yet ? All of my emails,voicemails,and phone calls to the info on thier website have gone unanswered. Thanks anyone for information.
 
I attended this hunt and it was AWESOME!!!! I hunted three days on a Confederate camp and found my best relic to date. I found a Confederate Script "I" button with C S on it. Now script I's are not that rare but to find one with C S on it is very rare. I aslo found a Confederate sword scabbard mount with the ring. I got a few other buttons and bullets and saw some amazing finds. I saw a very rare Kearney Cross recovered not too far from my button and a Regimental badge. There were tons of eagle buttons found as well. If you ever want to find some relics on some great sites then you will have to attend these hunts as well as the DIV hunts as they are the best there are for relic hunts. I will most definitely be attending again.
 
I also attended the first hunt, and I am glad I did! That was a amazing experience to the ones who hosted.

I'll be coming to the one in Dec 2nd-4th now too! I saw a Kearny Cross dug there! That is a rare one
