Relics among cut nails

Dug the broke spur along with what appears to be a toe tap to a boot and the brass doodads among a grouping of cut nails on old farm. Can the age and whether it is military be determined on the spur? And what could the two little brass pieces be?

I know there are books out there on spurs, so if you have some sort of makers mark or other identifying marks, you may be able to date it. Nice relic finds.
