Relics Wheats Toys Silver

[cambria09]

Hello All. I hunted three locations for these items, two old homes and one old hotel site c. 1920's. All long gone now...nothing left but empty lots and fields.

Found the usual variety of stuff, nothing real remarkable for all the holes dug but enough to keep me interested.

Thanks for the view and good luck out there. C9

BTW this is my 1000th post so I guess it is official: I am an MD addict...wife and kids have tried to get me help but it's no good...

Good score on the silvers.

Hello Dakota Sioux. Yep I agree, nice chunk of brass. My huntin' buddy found it and was gonna throw it away and could not let that happen. Thanks for the reply. C9

That wing is pretty cool, and I really like "the old curiosity shop" thing too, is it a hook?

Hello J. Cache. Yes it's a hook made to commemorate the Dickens novel of the sale name published in the 1840's but I believe this find is much newer...maybe 1940's as Etsy says:

Thanks for the reply and good luck. C9

C9 - That is a great haul! Silver is nice, but I really love the curiosity shop and dog tag. Imagine that dog, possibly alive in WW II. Great history. Wish it could talk...Brad
