I found this on a track today and can find no information on whether it is a real or fake marked item. The detail is exquisite so it is a paradox. It is a religious medal about the size of a quarter depicting Christs's head. As you can see, the medal seems to be two toned with the face beeing very defferent in tone from the beard and robe which are roughly dark silver/pewter colored. The face is a dark gold/bronze color. It is heavy (8 grams). The reverse is stamped 14K and Italy. It certainly doesn't look like traditional gold. I am open to any info.

The 14K mark picture is too blurry to see but gold can come in several colors.. Italian gold is usually marked in decimals.
