Religious Pendant/Charm?

Found this at a mid-1800s school site in north central Ohio. Came in as a 20-21 on my nox. Looks like a picture of Jesus on one side and maybe Mary holding a baby on the other? It?s just a little bigger than a IHP, I?m thinking civil war era for date? Any info you professionals can provide is greatly appreciated!!!
