Removing an Ancient Door Frame and Finding Something Very Strange

This week’s episode takes place in our ancient kitchen, where a long-overdue task turned into something far more intriguing…As we removed the old door frame to the pantry — with crowbars and a little help (or hindrance!) from Max —

we discovered a fine blue powder falling from behind the wood. But it didn’t stop there.Hidden behind the frame was a small, rotted muslin bag, tied at one end… and inside it, a bright blue stone.Could it be a historic pigment? A good luck charm? Or something more mysterious?

Plus it Seems to Have Leaked from Moisture
