Repair Flux Gate Mag

Hi out there:
Does anyone know of a good repair shop for "tuning up" a fluxgate magnetometer!
When I turn mine on, it developes ? a constant noise/signal that I can not adjust out!
Suggestions, anyone?

Hey Cptbil, is that the fluxgate mag I sold you a couple years ago? It is so sensitive, you have to turn it on outside. It picks up anything within 50 feet. Turn the sensitivity dial and wait for it to settle down. Check the sensors in each end and make sure they have not slid down the tube. Pete

I haven't needed it until this coming trip!
When, I tried it a couple of times, I was in the "Back 40"!
But! I was standing near to/under a couple of Large power lines!
AND!
I was Surrounded by a couple of barb wire fences-metal gates!
I'll see if I can get away from every thing,? next time !!

You know that I'm a shipwreck salvor. The fluxgate would not work for water searching. I couldn't adapt it to a waterproof housing. Since then I got a Fisher Proton 2 mag. I'm planning on sub-contracting on the 1715 fleet this summer. When are you going after the"Big One"?
