Republica Mexicana button/coin ?

[Plum Wash]

I dug this a while back and have not had any luck finding any information.

What I do know is I dug this the same day I dug two Phoenix buttons and a few treble gilt buttons in the same area.

I am hoping that some of you might recognize this button/coin.

Thank You for any info that you might have.

[Critical Recovery]

That is a Mexican military coat button, used from 1824 to 1833.

Thank you for the dates. How common are they ?
