Rev War button??

[Bill D. (VA)]

A friend of mine found this recently at the DIPA hunt, and we're not sure if it's a button. Appears to be a small snake on the front but no evidence of a shank. Might not be anything but thought I'd throw it out there. Comments welcomed.
