🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Revolutionary War Cannon shot?

I purchased this under it being a piece of revolutionary war Cannon shot. It's quite heavy for its size. I don't see a seam. One half of the sphere is scarred up and a little less round. Can see it in first and last picture. I don't have the tools to weigh or measure diameter yet. My gut is leaning to grinding ball of some sort. Thanks!

Simple measuring tape out a sewing kit will narrow the size down.
For weighing it-post office scale (I need a weight for a shipping quote to....)
Till then the question remains if it is or not authentic.
