If you remember about two weeks ago I started a thread about losing some of my brothers coins and that I found them. Well, I went to a bottle show shortly after and bought some buttons and three coins. One of the coins was two large cents bonded together so that heads were on both sides. I showed it to some friends at lunch last week. then packed it up and brought it home. Later that day I took it and the other items out of the tray to take pictures. After that I put them up. When I downloaded the pictures one was out of focus so I got the tray out to take another picture. The large cent was nowhere to be found! I looked under the couch and took the cushions up and ran my hand down in the recesses but couldn't find it. So, anyone that can tell me where it is will be rewarded with the biggest Thank You I can post!

In the car. Now can you help me find the $5 US gold coin I dug and hid in the house when the carpet guys came?

You seem to be blaming your couch. Were you on the couch doing what you did? Wouldn't surprise me if the couch swallowed it, sepecially if you were seated on one of the ends. Grasping at straws here, but try your pinpointer from the outside trying to avoid the springs. What about the tray? Could the coin have escaped the tray at some point and be "up" where you put it up? Hoping you find it soon, Richard

Can't be in the car. He had it after arriving home and photographed it.

I looked in my truck, my wife's car and my three project cars to make sure it wasn't there! And, yes I was sitting on the couch when I took the pictures. I looked there, in my recliner, my wife's recliner and the dog's bed on the ottoman! The dog is not big enough to eat it and to make sure I have been checking his droppings everyday since I lost it!:dontknow::laughing7:

Maybe you should only handle elephants...

Check under the couch. Molesting cushions can cause an object to fall through to floor on some couch designs. Those with a fabric back of sorts can have a "sling" that holds objects in the back behind cushions.

IF you're like me and part racoon , the missing coin could have been in hand and set down who knows where other than where you moved from putting tray away.
L.o.l.. There's a reason I don't wear cuffed pants....

My couch gets blamed for everything, and most times it is guilty.

.....leave all that stuff in the ashtray of your GTO and give your wife the keys...

Can't help on the coin, but if you should come across a red and blue striped sock... it was stolen by the Sock Fairy in 2018 and it's mine.

You don't happen to have floor based heat or cooling vents by any chance ?
I've accidentally dropped things on the floor that found a vent to fall in.

Dear mother of Christ! Did I just see Red Coat say he didn’t have an answer for something?

The coin is in your right pocket. Now for my next trick I’m gonna fall asleep on the couch watching a movie.

I lost an 8 reale cob in a jacket for months and months. I forget I have stuff sometimes...

No floor based vents. Everything is in the ceiling. I may check the ceiling vents anyway!

Are the two coins stuck together again?

say the St Anthony prayer. You'll find it. Don't expect it to jump out at you but you'll be drawn to the very close general location of where it's at.

if you don't know the prayer, it's, St A, St A, please come round, something's lost that must be found. (St A is short for St Anthony) You can thank me later

It will be in the last place that you look ! (you can thank me after you have found it) ! Good luck.

Tooth fairy got it! Somethimes some things just dissaper without a resonable explanation. Somethimes you may fing them in strange places, somethimes they are just gone. It heppens to me too. I found once my Nikon camera together wit a bag and extras im my fridge. Luckily it was still working. Of course i blamed my wife, though i am shure she had nothing to do with it...

It will be in the last place you look for it.

Oh.
One of those gone missing things.
Yeah that happened to me after joining certain Facebook groups when I was an idiot thinking Facebook was a good thing.

Sure just show the world everything you have and then post about going out of town.

I had my decoy walk off..and by decoy, I mean a large empty safe sitting in an obvious place..
Dumb crooks..I was two steps ahead.
