Mannaged to persuade the farmer to let us have one last day on the Roman Villa field this would be our 10th visit to this field about a hundred man ours each. The going was a bit slow and by mid day all I had to show for three hours detecting was a cruddy Roman Bronze :'(

so after dinner i moved to the side of the field which we have absolutely hammered over the past month but again I was amazed to pull out my 15th Hammered of this year in the form of a :icon_king:

Had another eight Roman Bronze bringing my totall for this year to 30 :thumbsup:

finished of the day with a nice Lion Lead Trade Weight, on Sunday we move to another field at the back of the village but I doubt it will be half as good as this one :icon_sunny:

Nice coin early style saltire or annulet on breast S1698, nice trade weight also. This hobby is very strange had the same two finds this month, SPOOKY !.
