Nice find Garabaldi :icon_thumright:, this is a similar one I found awhile back. It's undecorated and with only four points, think they are at least 18th Century.

i would have thought a ring the way the back looks like they curve toward each other.

The lugs curved towards each other as they were bent (hammered) over to keep them on the leather.
