Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Last week I went by an old Park i used to hunt, and pretty much got tired of not gettiing signals, When I Noticed they were ripping the roads up, even below the orginal brick roads
I got out for a few hours yesterday and started swinging.

I wasnt really getting alot of signals and suddely got a slamming Nickel signal. I didnt even have to dig, I looked down and saw somethign round, Picked it up and it was a 1907 V Nick!..I was Pumped!!..Ive only found one other one before this!! a few steps from the nickel, I got this wierd looking thing. It almost looks like a hood ornament or something. It apears to have something on the inside..Not sure what its from thou

I was about to head back to the house, and was just walking with my detector, not even swinging it, and I got another good Nickel Signal. It was about 2-3 inches below the road surface, and when I got it out, I saw the the V on the back and thought "Damn!" 2 in one day!, this one being 1906

I went to the car and started cleaning it with water, when i relizd that it was in Awesome Shape! I think this was probally one of the best condition coins I have found since detecting.

One thing I can say about an AT PRo is....they sure know there Nickels!! :hello2:

could the whatchamacallit be a top of say a champagne bottle or something along that line of thinking?

Great finds!

It looks like the stopper for an early hot water bottle.

Thank you Everyone that posted on this. I have gotten some good ideas what that Plug type thing is. I just found this on eBay (priced riduclously) and it looks REALLY Close to what I have. This said its froma washer from the 30's. What I found seems a little more Ornate, so it could possible be a drain plug from a radaitor. Just cant find an Exact match
